The ski lift gave access to a 2-kilometer route and 400 meters and a 480 meter vertical\ndrop with a transport capacity of 450 skiers per hour.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9e1e1fc elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"9e1e1fc\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The stable opening of the Envalira pass in 1958 facilitated communications and the commercial boom of the sixties facilitating\nthe arrival of skiers.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d0aa732 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"d0aa732\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>During the following years, the Pas de la Casa facilities were expanded to <span style=\"color: #76aee0;\">Grau Roig<\/span>, and by the end of the eighties, it had\nbeen expanded to the Montmal\u00fas area and the Pic del Cubil towards Pessons, Enradort and in January 1999, the Cortals\nEncamp area with the Funitel installation promoted by the city hall of Encamp, which connected the town of Encamp to the\nSolanelles area.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-144f628 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"144f628\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Following the success of this visionary, other entrepreneurs followed similar paths in other parts of the country.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1ff3051 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"1ff3051\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The second station was put into operation in February 1964, with the initiative of ski enthusiasts, (Miquel Bar\u00f3, Josep\nTorrellardona and Mart\u00ed Salvans), with it the inauguration of the first 2-seater chairlift in the country installed at the foot of the\ntown of <span style=\"color: #76aee0;\">Soldeu<\/span>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4117181 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"4117181\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Since then, the resort has steadily expanded its domain with the opening of the El Tarter sector in 1981 with two chairlifts, one\nin Riba Escorxada and another that connected to Pla d\u02bcEspiolets. Four years later, the new Forn sector in Canillo was opened.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ef783aa elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"ef783aa\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>One of the most important moments has been the commercial and marketing merger of the operating companies of Pas de la\nCasa Grau Roig and Soldeu El Tarter, creating the company NEVASA (Neus del Valira S.A). It will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2024.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c056aca elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"c056aca\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"translation-block\">In the 1982-1983 season, the <span style=\"color: #76aee0\">Pal<\/span> station was inaugurated, the fourth station in the country and the first of a public nature.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1479b21 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"1479b21\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>One of the most significant moments was in 1992, when the La Massana city council took charge of the management of\nArinsal, leading to the creation of the Pal Arinsal Station.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-cb9818e elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"cb9818e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>This integration allowed the expansion of the ski area. The year 2001 was another important turning point for the station, with\nthe installation of the cable car that connects both sectors.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-8778e18 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"8778e18\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container translation-block\">On another note, in 2024 we celebrated the 40th anniversary of the <span style=\"color: #76aee0\">Ordino-Arcal\u00eds<\/span> launched by the parish of Ordino. As the\nfifth public station in the country, its inauguration took place during Easter 1983 with 3 ski lifts and a chairlift all operating at\nfull capacity the following season with 6 slopes.<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9116369 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"9116369\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>In 2018, SAETDE signed a contract with the Ordino city council and became the majority shareholder for the operation of the\nstation for 50 years. That same year, Ordino Arcal\u00eds joined NEVASA for the marketing and promotion of the station.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1abe2e0 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"1abe2e0\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Three years later, SETAP365 was established, a new business holding that integrated the companies managed by Pal Arinsal\nand Soldeu El Tarter, with the participation of the Canillo and la Massana city councils, together with Cr\u00e8dit Andorr\u00e0, to gain\ninvestment capacity and business model cohesion.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-26cfb0d elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"26cfb0d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tFinally, Pal Arinsal joined NEVASA for the 2021-2022 season and since then, all ski resorts have been marketed and\npromoted jointly under the <span style=\"color: #76aee0;\">GRANDVALIRA RESORTS<\/span> brand which encompasses the 3 ski resorts in the country (Grandvalira,\nPal Arinsal and Ordino Arcal\u00eds).\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2da008d e-con-full e-flex e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"2da008d\" data-element_type=\"container\">\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-92842ca e-con-full Cuadro-fondo-titulos e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"92842ca\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-settings=\"{&quot;background_background&quot;:&quot;classic&quot;}\">\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-cf0bcb5 e-con-full Cuadro-fondo-titulos elementor-hidden-mobile e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"cf0bcb5\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-settings=\"{&quot;background_background&quot;:&quot;classic&quot;}\">\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1107cc6e e-con-full e-flex e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"1107cc6e\" data-element_type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-48f06762 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"48f06762\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>With effort, hard work and enthusiasm, Andorra has become a favorite destination for skiing and winter sports lovers.
