In summer, Grandvalira becomes the ideal destination to enjoy nature, adventure and outdoor activities, with a wide range of experiences designed for all ages in the largest ski and mountain resort in the Pyrenees.
The e-bike territory continues to grow, expanding its network to 114 km of signposted routes, with three new trails linking the sectors of Canillo, Soldeu, El Tarter, Encamp and Grau Roig, reinforcing Grandvalira as one of the leading e-bike destinations in the Pyrenees.
The activities are designed for all audiences in the following sectors:
- Canillo: Mon(t) Magic Family Park continues to be the ultimate family leisure destination. Open from June 20th to September 13th.
- Soldeu, unveils the new Labyrinth, an immersive experience located on the Soldeu platform. It is also home to Golf Soldeu, Europe's highest 9-hole golf course, which this summer features a new floating green. Open from June 20th to September 27th.
- El Tarter: launches the new Big Jump Park, a large outdoor inflatable area covering more than 800 m² (open from June 20th to September 13th).
- Encamp, the Funicamp provides access to excursions and 4x4 routes in the Cortals valley and this summer features a new sculpture of the Encamp Bear, marking the final point of the cultural route "Petjades enlairades". The Funicamp will be open from July 11th to September 8th.
- Grau Roig: Lake of Pessons remains one of the most iconic summer spots, with the restaurant open during the summer season (from 4th July to September 13th), access via the new 4x4 vehicles, and guided excursions with the Grandvalira Mountain Guides.
IN WINTER:
Grandvalira is the ski resort that extends through the parishes of Encamp and Canillo. With its extensive area, it is divided into seven sectors (Canillo, Soldeu, El Tarter, Encamp, Grau Roig, Peretol and Pas de la Casa) that are interconnected by slopes that are easily accessible with a single ski pass. This resort stands out for its offering of a total of 215 km of skiable area with 142 perfectly laid out slopes, 74 lifts and many complementary activities to its facilities, which makes Grandvalira the largest ski resort in the Pyrenees.
It has also gained international recognition, hosting the most prestigious competitions such as the Alpine Ski World Cup Finals in 2023, and organising Alpine Ski World Cup events, as well as the Speed Skiing World Cup in recent years.
