In Andorra, skiing is considered a sport of national interest.  To promote its practice, the Andorran government via the Ministry of Education and Higher Studies subsidizes a percentage of the price of these season passes.

In addition, during the winter season, the Andorran government organizes the School Ski program aimed at children enrolled in the three public education systems in Andorra. This program includes the integration of skiing into the physical education program, which forms part of the main educational project.  In this way, primary and secondary school boys and girls have access to learn and practice skiing.
 

The requirements to obtain these season passes are the following:

EXTRACURRICULAR SEASON PASS

Intended for those under 20 years of schooling and those under 18 years of age not attending school, with Andorran residence or Andorran nationality.

Those under 20 years old and studying abroad can apply for the season pass at the Ministry of Education through this website: www.infoeducacio.ad. They must attach documentation that accredits their studies in progress in order to validate their request before buying the ski pass.

UNIVERSITY SEASON PASS

Aimed at university students under 25 years of age who are Andorran residents or have Andorran nationality.

They can apply for the season pass at the Ministry of Education through the website: www.infoeducacio.ad. They must attach documentation that accredits their studies in progress in order to validate their request before buying the ski pass.

ACCOMPANYING SEASON PASS

Intended for people who collaborate with the School Ski program and are appointed by the school directives.


All of these passes are subsidized by the Government of Andorra.
